Usman Zaman

Usman Zaman is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in embedded systems and Linux environments. Currently serving as Service Team Lead at Afiniti since September 2020, Usman has progressed from Lead Software Engineer to Senior Expert Software Engineer, where responsibilities include developing custom Linux kernels for memory management and customer engagement. Previous roles include Freelance Software Engineer at PentaLoop, and Senior Software Engineer at Mentor Graphics, where Usman focused on BSP porting and driver development for Nucleus RTOS, as well as quality assurance for virtualization test cases. Usman began a career with an internship at Mentor Graphics and holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore.
