Ayusha Shrestha is currently serving as a Safety and Health Policy Researcher at AFL-CIO, where responsibilities include developing an annual report on workplace safety and managing training materials for Workers Memorial Day programs. Prior experience includes roles at Emory University as a Resident Assistant and Student Programming Work Study, where Ayusha supervised residents, planned events, and maintained the Asian Student Center. As Communications and Media Coordinator for the Atlanta Urban Debate League, Ayusha organized speech and debate tournaments and coached underserved students. Previous roles also include a Student Research Lab Assistant at Oxford College of Emory University, where Ayusha gained research skills in neuroscience, as well as experience as a Field Manager for Environment America, leading a campaign to ban neonicotinoids. Ayusha holds a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience & Behavioral Biology and Political Science from Emory University and an Associate of Arts and Sciences from Oxford College of Emory University.
