Nick Gaw

Nick Gaw has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the technology and political sectors. Nick most recently served as the Director of Data and Technology for AFL-CIO since 2019. Prior to that, they were the Technology Director at Avaaz from 2015 to 2019 and also held the position of Senior Technology Advisor from 2015 to 2017. From 2013 to 2015, Nick worked as the Director of Engineering at the Democratic National Committee. Before that, they held roles at Change.org, including Director of Campaign Tools from 2013 to 2013 and Senior Campaigner for Innovation from 2011 to 2013. Nick's earlier experience includes roles at The New Organizing Institute as a Community Manager from 2010 to 2011 and Trainings and Events Coordinator from 2009 to 2010. Nick began their career as the National Student Director at STAND: The Student-led Division of Genocide Intervention Network from 2008 to 2009.

Nick Gaw attended Swarthmore College from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in History and Linguistics.
