Rebecca Reindel Ms, Mph

Rebecca Reindel, MS, MPH has extensive work experience in the field of safety and health. Rebecca is currently working as the Safety and Health Director at AFL-CIO since July 2019. Prior to this role, they held the position of Senior Safety and Health Specialist at AFL-CIO from February 2014 to June 2019. Rebecca also worked as an Industrial Hygienist/Health Scientist at the U.S. Department of Labor/OSHA from September 2010 to February 2014. Rebecca has also served as an Indoor Environment Health Fellow at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency from August 2009 to August 2010. Rebecca has worked as an Adjunct Epidemiology Small Group Instructor at George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services from August 2009 to May 2010. Rebecca Reindel also has experience working as a Science, Health, and Medicine Instructor/Resident at George Washington University from August 2006 to May 2009. Rebecca has also worked as an Occupational Health Intern at New York Taxi Workers Alliance from June 2008 to August 2008. Rebecca also served as an Adjunct Chemistry Instructor for Graduate Students at the American Association for the Advancement of Science from June 2007 to August 2007. Rebecca has previously worked as a Medical Technologist at Quest Diagnostics, Nichols' Institute, Clinical and Forensic Toxicology from May 2006 to November 2006. Rebecca Reindel, MS, MPH has a strong educational background in the field of public health. Rebecca obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Wheeling University, graduating in 2005. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Forensic Toxicology from The George Washington University, completing their studies in 2007. Rebecca continued their education at The George Washington University and obtained a Master of Public Health degree in Environmental and Occupational Health, which they earned in 2009.

In addition to their degrees, Rebecca has achieved a Certification in Public Health from the National Board of Public Health Examiners, which they obtained in November 2010.
