Damian Smart has a diverse work experience in the field of solution engineering and sales. Damian started their career at TUV Product Service as a Telecom Approvals Engineer in 1996. After that, they worked at ADC KRONE as a Technical Support professional until 2007. Damian then joined TE Connectivity as a Senior System Application Engineer, where they worked for eight years until 2015.
In 2015, they joined CommScope as a Senior System Application Engineer for a brief period. Then, they moved to HUBER+SUHNER as an FO Sales Manager Data Centre in 2016 and worked there until 2019.
Currently, Damian is working at AFL Hyperscale, where they have held various roles. Damian started as a Senior Solutions Engineer in 2019 and was later promoted to the position of Regional Account Manager. Now, they serve as the Head of Solution Engineering.
Damian Smart RCDD, CDCDP, CNIDP has an extensive education history in the field of network infrastructure design and data center design. Damian attended CNET Training in an unspecified year and obtained a certification as a BICSI RCDD. Additionally, they completed the Certified Data Centre Design Professional (CDCDP) program at CDCDP in 2013. In 2017, Damian pursued further education and attended CNIDP, where they obtained the Certified Network Infrastructure Design Professional certification.
