Elena Boeva

Elena Boeva serves as the U.S. Chief Operating Officer for AFLAC Global Investments, having joined the firm in October 2015. With extensive experience in operational due diligence and risk management, Elena oversees complex onboarding projects that necessitate collaboration across various business domains, including finance, compliance, and risk management, with a strong focus on legal documentation and negotiation. Prior roles include positions at Guggenheim Partners, where a risk management framework was established, and significant experience assessing business risks was gained at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan and Morgan Stanley Investment Management. Elena began professional career as a Senior Associate at Ernst & Young, managing audits for significant investment funds. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Accountancy from Wake Forest University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Economics from Salem College.
