Sarah Powell

Sarah Powell has an extensive work experience spanning across various industries. Sarah started their career as an Attorney at Burroughs, Hepler, Broom Law Firm in 1999 and then moved to COUNTRY Financial as a Senior Attorney in 2002. In this role, they managed claims litigation for five states and was responsible for making coverage determinations. Sarah then joined Afni, Inc. as the Director of Sales in 2011, where they led the sales team. Sarah later joined State Farm in 2014 as the Customer Experience Insights Leader, analyzing customer satisfaction and utilizing feedback to drive change. In 2016, Sarah became the Vice President at InterOptic, where they oversaw the global supply chain for fiber optic transceivers. Currently, Sarah holds the position of Vice President at Afni, Inc., a leading provider of Customer Experience and Call Center support for large companies worldwide.

Sarah Powell's education history includes earning a Juris Doctorate degree from Southern Illinois University School of Law, graduating Cum Laude in 1999. Sarah also obtained a B.A. in Speech Communications from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1996. In 2017, they completed a Mini-MBA program at Rutgers Business School. Additionally, they hold certifications as a Six Sigma Yellow Belt and a Certified Mediator. Sarah is also licensed to practice law in Illinois and Missouri. Sarah has received recognition through awards such as the Top 20 Under 40 Award and serving on the Heartland Community College Foundation Board.
