Herman Granzow C, MSc, CAIA has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Herman started their career at Infocap as an Adviser for "Proyecto Banco del Trabajador" in 2001. Herman then worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Universidad de Chile from 2007 to 2008.
In 2007, Herman joined Santander Asset Management where they held various roles including Analyst/Trader, Fixed Income Trader, and Senior Portfolio Manager. Herman managed core Chilean fixed income funds and tailored portfolios for Chilean institutional government agencies. Herman also designed and executed investment strategies in fixed income and derivatives.
Following this, in 2015, Herman became an Assistant Professor at Universidad de Chile. Herman taught and conducted research until 2017.
In the same year, Herman joined Santander Private Banking as a Senior Portfolio Manager/Strategist. Herman managed fixed income and equity portfolios for Chilean high net worth clients and presented investment strategies to clients and private banking executives.

Currently, Herman works at AFP HABITAT as the Chief Economist/Strategist. Herman is in charge of the regional/country asset allocation within the international portfolio and is responsible for planning, implementing, and delivering investment recommendations based on a sound and replicable investment process.
Herman Granzow C has a diverse educational background. Herman obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the Facultad de Economía y Negocios - Universidad de Chile in 2006. Afterward, they pursued further education and completed a Master of Science in Finance from the same university before the year 2010.

Furthermore, Herman is expanding their knowledge in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Herman is enrolled in a Master's program in Artificial Intelligence at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, which they started in 2022.
Considering certifications, Herman achieved the FCE certification from the University of Cambridge in May 2002. Herman has also obtained the CAIA Level I & II certifications from the CAIA Association; however, the specific dates of achievement are not provided.
