Natalie Mazzei

Natalie Mazzei, SHRM-SCP, has over 11 years of work experience with a focus on human resources and administration. Natalie currently serves as the Human Resources Director at the Association for Financial Professionals. Prior to this role, Natalie held positions such as Human Resources Manager and Human Resources Generalist at the same organization. Natalie also served as the Interim Human Resources Director & Corporate Business Development and started their career as a Human Resources Coordinator.

Before joining the Association for Financial Professionals, Natalie worked at Oliff PLC as an Executive/IP Assistant and Firm Administrative Assistant. Natalie also gained experience as an Intern at Cardinal Management Group and as an Intern at JH Adams Inn and Cristina Gray's Restaurant & Bar.

Through their work at CAROLINES PROMISE, Natalie demonstrated their skills in fundraising and marketing by organizing a 5k and Family Fun Walk to raise funds for a new school in Guatemala City. Additionally, during their time at High Point University, they played a key role in initiating and co-chairing the Relay for Life event, raising over $70,000 for the American Cancer Society.

In 2010, Natalie interned at AFP, where they contributed to the planning of the annual Association for Financial Professionals Conference in San Antonio, Texas.

Natalie Mazzei, SHRM-SCP, obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from High Point University, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. In addition, they have obtained the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM in February 2021.
