Brandon Watts

Brandon Watts is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in investment management and mortgage finance. Currently serving as an AFR Board Member at American Financial Resources since February 2024, Brandon also holds the position of Portfolio Manager at Proprietary Capital since September 2020. Previously, Brandon was the Executive Vice President of Mortgage Investments at PennyMac Financial, where responsibilities included generating over $100 million in annual net income through strategic mortgage investments. Other notable roles include Principal/Consultant at RE Investment/Development, SVP at Sterne Agee, and Director of Institutional Sales at Countrywide Capital Markets. Brandon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Economics, and Finance from Pepperdine University, completed in 2001.
