Daniel Choi

Daniel CHOI is an experienced professional in the esports and gaming industry, currently serving as Managing Director and GM of Global Business at both AfreecaTV Co., Ltd. and SOOP since December 2021, where responsibilities include launching a livestreaming platform. Previously, Daniel held the position of Senior Director of Marketing at ONE Esports, and before that, served Electronic Arts (EA) as Director for Asia CGE Business Operations, overseeing project coordination and cross-functional planning. Additionally, Daniel led the Asia Competitive Gaming and esports strategy for FIFA Online 4 at EA. Daniel's earlier career includes significant roles at Riot Games, where contributions to the EU esports ecosystem were made, and a tenure at Wemade Entertainment as General Manager of WeMade FOX pro-esports club, and at KeSPA in business development. Daniel CHOI holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Chungnam National University.
