Senior Technical Officer, Reproductive Health at Africa CDC

Ebba Secka is a Senior Technical Officer in Reproductive Health at Africa CDC since June 2022, providing technical support to Member States in implementing maternal and reproductive health strategies. Prior experience includes serving as the Regional Director of Health Services and Principal Program Officer for RMNCAH at the Ministry of Health - The Gambia, where oversight of health systems and coordination of national health activities were key responsibilities. Additionally, Secka worked as a Child Survival and Development Officer at UNICEF Gambia, a Principal Research Officer at the Ministry of Health - The Gambia, and a Stop Transmission of Polio Consultant with the World Health Organization. Ebba Secka holds a Master of Philosophy in International Community Health from the University of Oslo, with a focus on maternal and child health.
