Frehiwot Mulugeta Deressa is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in data analysis, dashboard development, and project management across various organizations. Currently serving as a Technical Officer for Digital Systems at Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention since February 2023, Frehiwot previously held positions as a Senior Data Analyst Specialist and Lead Data Scientist at JSI | John Snow, Inc., where a strong focus was placed on data visualization projects and capacity-building training. Frehiwot has effectively supported the Ethiopian Ministry of Health through critical data analysis initiatives and has extensive experience in managing and enhancing agricultural data systems at the Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Agency. With a strong educational background holding multiple degrees from Addis Ababa University, including a Master of Science in Computer Science, Frehiwot has demonstrated a continuous commitment to leveraging data for informed decision-making across various sectors.
