Delories Sikuku is a PhD Fellow in Medicine (Virology) at the Africa Health Research Institute, beginning the role in September 2024 as part of the SANTHE Fellowship. Prior experience includes serving as an Application Scientist at Alliance Global from August 2023 to August 2024 and as a Molecular Laboratory Scientist II at 54gene from May 2022 to July 2023. Delories also worked as a Flow Cytometry Specialist for Partners for Health and Development in Africa between June 2019 and April 2022, and as a Molecular Laboratory Scientist at CA Medlynks from January 2018 to December 2021. Earlier roles include an internship at The Aga Khan University Hospital from December 2015 to December 2017. Delories holds a Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science and Technology and a Master of Science in Medical Microbiology (Virology and Immunology) from the University of Nairobi. Additional education includes a Fellowship in International Infectious Diseases and Global Health Training from the University of Manitoba and current PhD studies at the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
