Joana Afedzie

Joana Afedzie is an emerging professional in the aerospace sector with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Currently serving as a Virtual Assistant Trainee at ALX Ghana and a Maintenance Control Centre Technician at Africa World Airlines Limited, Joana facilitates communication between Line Maintenance and the Flight Operations Center, and assists Engineers in securing necessary services. Previous experience includes roles such as Wheel Shop Assistant, Aircraft Maintenance Intern at Ghana Air Force, and participation in a Data Science bootcamp through PyLadies Ghana, where skills in Python, SQL, Tableau, and machine learning were acquired. Joana's educational background includes practical training in aircraft maintenance from the Ghana Air Force School of Trade Training and a General Science certification from Abuakwa State College.
