Demba Diallo

Demba Diallo currently serves as the Managing Director and Head of Project Development at Africa50 Infrastructure Investment Platform, a position held since June 2023. Prior to this, Demba Diallo was the Chief Executive Officer of the Le Fonds Souverain d’Investissements Stratégiques (FONSIS) from June 2014 to May 2023, where oversight of investment and portfolio management across various sectors including ICT and Infrastructure was a primary responsibility. Demba Diallo also held the role of Président at POLIMED S.A.S.U., a FONSIS subsidiary focused on medical infrastructure, from April 2015 to May 2023. Earlier experience includes Executive VP at Sonatel, managing enterprise business units, and technical roles at CoSine Communications, Lucent Technologies, Equant, and Cegetel - British Telecom. Educational qualifications include a Master in Distributed Computing and Telecommunications from Télécom SudParis and a Maitrise in Management Sciences from Université Paris Dauphine - PSL.
