Dejay Duckett

Dejay B. Duckett is an accomplished museum professional currently serving as the Director of Curatorial Services at the African American Museum in Philadelphia since February 2017. Prior experience includes roles as Associate Director and Associate Curator at the University of Pennsylvania from November 2001 to February 2017, and Associate Curator at the Cultural Affairs Bureau Of from September 1996 to March 1998. Earlier in the career, Dejay B. Duckett worked as a Gallery Associate at the Atlanta Contemporary Art Center from December 1994 to August 1996. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Museology/Museum Studies from Seton Hall University and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History, Criticism and Conservation from Spelman College.
