Darryl Adriaanzen

Darryl Adriaanzen currently serves as the Group Chief Operations Officer at African Bank, a position held since November 2021. Prior to this, Darryl was with Access Bank South Africa from June 2015 to November 2021, where responsibilities included leadership roles in Personal and Business Banking, Chief Operating Officer, and integration of operations and back-office functions. Previous experience includes serving as Chief Commercial Officer and Executive Director at The South African Bank of Athens Limited, where Darryl led commercial management and strategy development. A career at Standard Bank spanned from January 2003 to August 2011 in various sales and marketing leadership roles. Darryl holds a Senior Management Programme certification and a Bachelor of Commerce degree, both from the University of Pretoria.
