African Communities Together
African Communities Together is a membership organization of immigrants from sub-Saharan Africa and their families. ACT is dedicated to helping the African immigrant diaspora in the US to integrate socially, get ahead economically, and have a voice politically. ACT connects African immigrants to direct services, develops African immigrants as grassroots leaders, and mobilizes African immigrants through campaigns for social change. ACT launched our first chapter in New York City in fall of 2012. In 2015, we expanded our work to the Washington, DC area.
