Agnes Soucat, MD, MPH, Ph.D has an extensive and prestigious work experience in various global health organizations. Agnes currently serves as the Head of the Division of Health and Social Protection at the AFD - Agence Française de Développement since 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Director at the World Health Organization from 2015 to 2021.

Before joining the WHO, Agnes Soucat worked as the Director of Human Development at the African Development Bank from 2010 onwards. Agnes also had a significant role as a Lead Economist at The World Bank since 2000.

Agnes'scareer began at UNAIDS as an Adviser from 1997 to 1999, where they gained valuable experience in the field of global health. Agnes Soucat's diverse and extensive work experience showcases their expertise in health and social development on a global scale.

Agnes Soucat, MD, MPH, Ph.D has an extensive education history. Agnes first earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Nancy University France between 1981 and 1989. Agnes then pursued a Master's degree in Human Nutrition from Cirq Developer from 1988 to 1990. Agnes further enhanced their academic qualifications by obtaining a Master's degree in Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health during 1990-1991. Agnes continued their education at The Johns Hopkins University, where they completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics from 1992 to 1997. Recently, in 2021, they served as a Senior Associate at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
