Nicole Kearse

Nicole Kearse has a diverse work experience spanning various sectors. Starting in 2003, they worked as a Summer Associate and Associate at Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP. Nicole then moved on to work as an Associate at Baker McKenzie and later as a Finance Associate at Shearman & Sterling LLP. In 2010, they became the Deputy Managing Director at DaMina Advisors LLP.

In 2015, Nicole co-founded Krescent Consulting LLP, where they served as a Senior Consultant and later as the Director of Learning and Development (Consultant) at ILFA (International Lawyers for Africa). Nicole also held a board membership position in ILFA Learning & Development Limited.

Additionally, Nicole has experience working in the financial sector, having served as a Secondee at Citibank's Latin America and Caribbean Division.

Their most recent work experience includes being a Senior Legal Counsel and later the Head of Sovereign Finance at the African Development Bank Group's African Legal Support Facility since 2018. Nicole also completed a Master of Arts in Cultural Studies from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts from Tufts University with a focus on History, Political Studies, and Africa and New World Studies. In addition, they pursued a degree in Computer Science at Oberlin College. Nicole Kearse has obtained certifications as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales from the Solicitors Regulation Authority, Diplôme approfondi de langue française (C1) from France's Minister of national education Cabinet, and New York Bar Admission from the New York Supreme Court Appellate Division, First Department.
