African Diaspora Art Museum of Atlanta (ADAMA)
Fahamu Pecou serves as the CEO of Fahamu Pecou Art, Inc. since January 2002 and is the Founding Director of the African Diaspora Art Museum of Atlanta (ADAMA) since April 2018. Previously, Fahamu Pecou worked as an artist for Fahamu Pecou Art, Inc. from December 2005 to April 2018, and founded Diamond Lounge Creative in June 2002, serving as Art Director until December 2010. Earlier experience includes co-founding Diamond Lounge Studios and holding the position of Senior Designer from June 1999 to June 2002. Fahamu Pecou's education includes a Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Arts in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies from Emory University, as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from Atlanta College of Art.

Founded by artist/scholar Dr. Fahamu Pecou, ADAMA is an innovative museum showcasing contemporary art and culture of the African Diaspora. We amplify the diverse voices of our global family through the creation of immersive experiences, cultivating shared learning, and facilitating meaningful points of connection. Currently ADAMA is working with other Atlanta-based institutions by consulting and curating programs and events that underscore our mission.
