African Diaspora Art Museum of Atlanta (ADAMA)
Kayla Redman is an accomplished professional in the arts management sector with diverse experience across various prominent institutions. Currently serving as Programs Champion and Programs Ambassador at the African Diaspora Art Museum of Atlanta since April 2022, Kayla previously held roles as Gallery Coordinator at Gallery FUMI and as Program Specialist and Public Programs Assistant at the Smithsonian National Museum of African Art. Earlier experience includes coordinating events and public space activations for the City of Alexandria's Office of the Arts, as well as internships at the Museum of the African Diaspora and as a University Museum Outreach Fellow at American University. Kayla holds a Bachelor's degree in Art Management from Delaware State University, a Master's degree in Arts Management from American University, and is currently pursuing an MA in Curating Contemporary Art & Design at Kingston University.

Founded by artist/scholar Dr. Fahamu Pecou, ADAMA is an innovative museum showcasing contemporary art and culture of the African Diaspora. We amplify the diverse voices of our global family through the creation of immersive experiences, cultivating shared learning, and facilitating meaningful points of connection. Currently ADAMA is working with other Atlanta-based institutions by consulting and curating programs and events that underscore our mission.
