African Guarantee Fund
Jules Ngankam has been with African Guarantee Fund since 2013, currently serving as the Group Chief Executive Officer. Prior to this, Ngankam worked at Barclays Investment Bank from 2005 to 2013, holding various roles including Group Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Group Chief Financial Officer. Ngankam holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration from ESSEC Business School, a Master's Degree in Statistics and Economics from ENSAE Paris, a Master's Degree in Applied Mathematics from Université Paris Dauphine - PSL, and an Engineer's Degree in Statistics from ISSEA-CEMAC.

The African Guarantee Fund for Small and Medium Enterprises (AGF) contributes to the promotion of economic development vital for prosperity, stability and poverty reduction in Africa by enabling SMEs have increased access to financing. AGF has two lines of activities: the guarantee activity and the capacity building activity. Through our guarantee facility, we assists banks to partially cover the risks associated with SME lending and thus enable them increase their portfolio in that sector. Through our capacity development facility, we assist banks enhance their SME banking capabilities and thus be able to execute their SME banking strategies with ease.
