Kavi Ramburn has a diverse work experience spanning from 2013 to present. From 2013 to 2014, Kavi worked as a Research Assistant at IOM, a Workforce and Education Analyst at the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, and a Project Manager & Workshop Administrator at Davis Foundation. In 2013, Kavi also interned at Asociación Sí Podemos (La Ciudad Accesible). From 2014 to 2015, Kavi worked as a Performance Management Consultant at Boys Hope Girls Hope International and a Graduate Research Intern at UNDP. In 2017, Kavi worked as a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Manager at Free the Slaves, a Founder & Strategic Lead (remote) at Lean On, and a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Consultant at The Hunger Project. Since 2019, Kavi has been working at African Leadership Group as a Director of Learning Programs, a Senior Product Manager, and a Product Manager. In these roles, Kavi has managed tech, operations, and data analyst teams, managed programmatic budgets, collaborated with other department heads, designed specialized experiences, created and managed product roadmaps, analyzed marketplaces and competitors, developed online educational programs, engaged with business owners and frontline operators, created criteria and proposals, audited data, and developed cost-benefit ratio models.
Kavi Ramburn has a diverse educational background. From 2010 to 2014, they attended Earlham College, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Kavi then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Development Economics and International Development at Columbia | SIPA from 2015 to 2017. In 2013, they also completed a Development Project Management course at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey. Additionally, they attended UWC Mahindra College, though no degree was obtained. Kavi Ramburn also holds two certifications: a Section4 Certified Product Strategist obtained in May 2021, and The Phi Beta Kappa from The Phi Beta Kappa Society.
