Pepe CARRILLO has worked in various roles since 2007. Pepe began their career as an Intern at Banco de Mexico in 2007. Pepe then worked as an Associate at Noriega y Escobedo, A.C. in 2008 and at Basila Abogados in 2009. From 2010 to 2017, they worked at Chadbourne & Parke LLP as a Senior Associate in Corporate Finance & Project Finance and as an Associate in Corporate Finance & Public Finance. During this time, they established and strengthened relationships between the Mexico City office and other international offices, originated and managed new relations with private organizations and government agencies in the domestic Finance and Energy industries, and developed innovative initiatives in support of the Mexico City office. In 2014, they began teaching as a Professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey. Since 2017, they have held the roles of Head of Expansion, Head of Legal, Compliance, Risk & Privacy, General Counsel & VP of Corporate Development, and General Counsel at African Leadership Group.
Pepe CARRILLO attended Tecnológico de Monterrey from 2003 to 2010, where they did not obtain a degree. Pepe then obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2014, majoring in Business Administration, Management and Operations. In 2016, they obtained a Master of Advanced Management (MAM) from Yale School of Management, majoring in International Business.
