Chinyere Akachukwu

Chinyere Akachukwu currently serves as the Senior Associate for Strategy and Investor Relations at the Africa Minigrid Developers Association (AMDA), a position held since April 2024, where responsibilities include conducting research and analysis to inform strategic decision-making and enhance investor relations. Prior to this role, Chinyere worked at Kenna Partners from May 2017 to April 2024, initially as an Associate Counsel and later as a Senior Associate, providing legal representation for clients in arbitrations and various court proceedings. Previous experience includes a position as a Claims Associate at NSIA Insurance Limited in 2016 and a legal internship at Aluko & Oyebode in 2014. Chinyere's academic qualifications include an LLM in International Commercial Law from the University of Birmingham, and several finance and negotiation certifications from Harvard Business School Online, in addition to a BA in Law from the Nigerian Law School and an LLB from the University of Nottingham.
