Kate Wilson

Kate Wilson is a dedicated conservation professional with significant experience in research and monitoring within the African Parks Network, serving as Research & Monitoring Manager since July 2016 and previously as Assistant Logistics Manager. Prior to this role, Kate volunteered at Parc National de la Garamba in early 2016 and worked as a Team Leader for the Earthwatch Institute, where responsibilities included ensuring volunteer safety and facilitating educational programs in the Majete Wildlife Reserve. Research experience includes conducting fieldwork on impala and waterbuck for an MSc thesis while managing research operations in Majete. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Conservation Ecology and a Bachelor of Science in Conservation Ecology, both from Stellenbosch University.
