CPA Nelly Konya, Ph.D, currently serves as Finance Manager at African Parks Network since January 2023, managing USAID and EU grants totaling USD 12 million, alongside financial analysis, reporting, and audit management. Previously, Nelly held positions at the Born Free Foundation, where responsibilities included high-level financial management and oversight of audits and human resources from February 2018 to January 2023, and was a Finance Officer at Kenya Bankers Association from April 2011 to January 2018, focusing on financial and audit management. Nelly's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Finance, an MBA in Finance, and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance, all obtained from Kenyatta University.
