Khathu Matidza has extensive experience in stakeholder engagement and socio-economic development, currently serving as Coordinator: Stakeholder Engagement / Socio-Economic Development at Two Rivers Platinum Mine since December 2010. This role follows previous positions including Acting Senior Manager: Social Performance and Community Projects Facilitator at the same organization, which is a joint venture between African Rainbow Minerals and Impala Platinum. Prior to this, Khathu Matidza worked at the Department of Rural Development and Land Reform from March 2006 to December 2010, holding various planning roles. A brief contract as a GIS Operator at HR Computek for the Independent Electoral Commission was also completed in early 2006. Khathu Matidza's educational background includes a Bachelor of Environmental Sciences and honours from the University of Venda and a Certificate of Competence in Management Development from Wits Business School.
