Valentine Ngum Ndze, BMLS, MSc, PhD, currently serves as a Laboratory Advisor for the USAID IDDS Project at the African Society for Laboratory Medicine since September 2019, and as a Senior Program Officer at the Johns Hopkins Cameroon Program since January 2019. Previous experience includes a role as a Lecturer specializing in medical virology at the Faculty of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, University of Yaounde I, from January 2014 to February 2018, and as a Research Scientist and Head of the Virology Laboratory at The Mother and Child Center, Chantal Biya Foundation, from September 2012 to December 2015. Additional roles in various research and managerial capacities include visiting researcher positions at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Institute of Veterinary Medical Research in Hungary, as well as serving as a Branch Manager at Medicalex Sarl. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Yaounde I and a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Evidence-Based Health Care and Vaccinology from Stellenbosch University, among other degrees in health sciences.
