Frederick Kumah is a seasoned leader in wildlife conservation and international development with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Vice President at the African Wildlife Foundation since January 2020, Frederick previously held significant roles at WWF, including Initiative Leader for the New Deal for Nature and People and Africa Regional Director, managing a substantial budget and multiple country offices. At Oxfam, Frederick held various positions including Deputy Regional Director for Africa, overseeing multiple countries and significant financial resources. Frederick's earlier career includes key leadership roles at ADRA International, establishing programs in Somalia and overseeing operations in Kenya and Somalia. Academic qualifications include an MBA from Andrews University and a recent short course in Political Science and Government from the University of Cambridge.
