Nicole Engdahl has a diverse work experience in various non-profit organizations. Nicole currently holds the position of Vice President of Individual Giving at the African Wildlife Foundation since May 2023. Before joining the African Wildlife Foundation, Nicole worked at the National Park Foundation as the Senior Vice President of Planned and Annual Giving from July 2019 to April 2023. Prior to that, they held positions of Vice President of Planned and Annual Giving from September 2016 to July 2019, and Vice President of Planned Giving from January 2015 to September 2016 at the National Park Foundation.
Nicole also has experience working at the Special Olympics as the Director of Gift Planning Marketing and Stewardship from September 2011 to December 2014. Nicole served as a Planned Giving Officer at the National Geographic Society from January 2005 to September 2011. Additionally, they worked as the Director of Development at the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance from 2002 to 2005.
Prior to their roles in non-profit organizations, Nicole worked at St. Olaf College as the Associate Director of Annual Giving from 2000 to 2002 and at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as the Associate Director of the Wisconsin Chapter from 1997 to 2000.
Nicole Engdahl, CAP®, has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communication and French from Luther College. Nicole also holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Communication from Northern Illinois University. Additionally, Nicole has obtained the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®) certification from The American College of Financial Services in 2018.
