Joao D'Almeida

Joao D'Almeida, Eng., MBA, currently serves as the Core Network Head of Section at Africell Angola since August 2021, where responsibilities include developing core network strategies, managing vendor relationships, conducting security assessments, and leading a team in network architecture lifecycle management. Prior to this role, Joao held leadership positions at Movicel, including Core&RAN Planning and Design Team Leader and O&M CDMA/GSM/UMTS/LTE Access and Transmission Network Team Leader from June 2005 to September 2021. Joao's educational background includes degrees from Faculdade AIEC and ITEL - Instituto Nacional Telecomunicações-Angola, highlighting a strong foundation in telecommunications engineering.
