Shahram Safai

Shahram Safai is a seasoned corporate lawyer with extensive experience, currently serving as a partner at Afridi & Angell since August 2002. In addition to this role, Shahram held the position of Chairman of The Executive Board at the Canadian Business Council of Dubai and the Northern Emirates from June 2022 to July 2024. Prior to these roles, Shahram worked as a corporate lawyer at Cooley LLP from December 1999 to July 2002, and as a tax lawyer at Lawson Lundell LLP from June 1998 to November 1999. Shahram began the professional career as an engineer at BC Hydro from June 1992 to August 1995. Educationally, Shahram holds a Doctor of Law - JD from The University of British Columbia, a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Finance from Missouri (2000 - 2002), and a Bachelor of Engineering - BE from The University of British Columbia. Additionally, Shahram completed the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School.
