Dunesha Naicker

Dunesha Naicker is an experienced professional in the field of science and development, currently serving as the Head of Science and Development at Afrikelp since June 2018. Prior to this role, Dunesha held the position of Production and Process Improvement Manager. Dunesha's career includes experience as a Process Engineer at New Horizons Energy (Pty) Ltd from December 2016 to May 2018, where responsibilities included plant commissioning, laboratory management, staff management, and optimization of the bioreactor. Additionally, Dunesha worked as a Developmental Engineer at Elgin Fruit Juices between March 2015 and November 2016, focusing on bioreactor optimization, CHP unit operation, environmental management, and basic AutoCAD. Dunesha Naicker holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, obtained between 2004 and 2014.
