Ahmed Bastawy

Ahmed Bastawy is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience in innovation consultancy, entrepreneurship, and education. Currently serving as a Board Member at AfriLabs, a Think Tank Advisory Board Member at MC2, and an Adjunct Lecturer at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, Ahmed has played a pivotal role in enhancing competitiveness within Green-Tech businesses and imparting knowledge in Innovation & Entrepreneurship. As the Managing Director of icealex and Founding Director of Startups of Alex Incubator, the first business incubator in Alexandria, Ahmed is dedicated to driving impact-driven ventures. With a background as a Senior Business & Innovation Consultant, Ahmed has developed and conducted various training programs, focusing on entrepreneurship and career development. Previous contributions include serving as a Circularity & Sustainability Expert for the Federation of Egyptian Industries and participating in capacity-building initiatives across Africa. Ahmed holds multiple advanced degrees, including an MBA in Entrepreneurship & Business Administration and a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering.
