Thuto Liphaphang

Thuto Liphaphang is a Mine Geologist at Afrimat since April 2022, responsible for establishing and enforcing grade control standards and optimizing quality control while delineating material types to enhance mining efficiency. Previously, Thuto served as a Geologist in Training at the University of Johannesburg and held positions as an Associate Researcher and Student Tutor. Prior experience includes mentoring students in the Bridge The Gap Geosciences Guidance Program and working as a promoter for Tonic&Soda Events and Promotions. Thuto holds a BSc (Hons) in Applied Geology from the University of Johannesburg and a BSc in Applied Geology from the University of the Western Cape. Education was completed at King Edward High School.
