Monwabisi Kula

Monwabisi Kula, MBA, CIA, CFSA has extensive work experience in audit and internal control roles. Monwabisi is currently serving as the Chief Audit Executive at AfroCentric Group since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Deputy Chief Audit Executive and Head of Internal Audit at Bayport Financial Services from September 2015 to November 2021. Before that, they served as an Auditor in Charge at GOLD FIELDS from January 2014 to September 2015. Mr. Kula also gained significant experience as an Internal Audit Manager at Transaction Capital Ltd from October 2010 to January 2014, managing multiple teams and executing audit plans effectively. Earlier in their career, they held positions such as Internal Audit Manager at Eskom for a brief period in 2010 and Specialist: Internal Auditor at Medscheme Holdings (Pty) Ltd from March 2004 to April 2009. Monwabisi also worked as a Scheme Finance Credit Controller at Medscheme Holdings from March 2004 to October 2006.

Monwabisi Kula has a diverse educational background in business administration, strategic management, accounting, and auditing.
