Christian Ernst MAA is a German architect practicing in Copenhagen, Denmark, with a specialization in infrastructure and transportation, particularly in bridge design. They have led several major international projects, including the Forth Replacement Crossing in Scotland and the Gerald Desmond Replacement Bridge in California. In October 2012, Christian transitioned from their role as Senior Designer at Dissing+Weitling Architecture to co-found a practice focused on Infrastructure Design. They hold degrees from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts School of Architecture and the Technical University Berlin and are a registered member of the Danish Architect's Association and the International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineers. Currently, Christian serves as Head of Business Development and Customer Relations at AFRY while previously holding positions such as Director at Brownlie Ernst and Marks Limited and Head of Bridges and Mobility at Gottlieb Paludan Architects.
