Magnus Almqvist

Magnus Almqvist is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in hardware integration, testing operations, and safety validation across various automotive companies. Currently serving as a Senior Integration Engineer at AFRY since September 2023, Almqvist previously held multiple leadership roles at NEVS, including Director of Hardware Integration & Testing Operations and Director of System Integration & Testing Operations. Throughout the career, Almqvist managed large teams and was responsible for comprehensive testing and validation processes, budget oversight, and the implementation of agile methodologies. Previous experience includes significant contributions to safety testing at Saab Automobile AB and GM, as well as project management roles in developing test rigs and CAE-driven development. Almqvist holds education from Chalmers University of Technology and University West.
