Cristina Bertelli

Cristina Bertelli currently serves as a Volunteer Development Specialist and project manager at AFS Intercultural Programs since January 2023. Previously, Cristina held the role of Regional Volunteer Manager at Intercultura from January 2008 to August 2024, focusing on volunteer recruitment, management, training, and development. In earlier positions, Cristina worked as a consultant at Associazione Italiana dei Comuni Italiani (ANCI) from September 2006 to December 2007, providing external consulting on civic service and active citizenship. Cristina also managed a civic education project for elementary students as a Project Manager for Comune di Povegliano from March 2006 to September 2007. Cristina's education includes a Certificate in Managing People and Teams from The London School of Economics and Political Science, a Certificate in Intercultural Competence from AFS Intercultural Programs, and a degree in Progettazione e gestione del turismo culturale from Università degli Studi di Padova.
