Hector Lafarga Jr.

Hector LaFarga, Jr. is an experienced nonprofit leader currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of After-School All-Stars in Los Angeles since December 2022. Prior to this role, Hector held positions including Director of Organizational Development at Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Executive Director at the American Red Cross Los Angeles Region, and Regional Executive Director for After-School All-Stars. Hector has also served as Executive Director for the Mothers' Club Family Learning Center and Vice President of Programs at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles & the Inland Empire. With a career spanning over two decades in organizational leadership, Hector has focused on mentoring, community partnerships, and strategic program development to enhance the success of at-risk youth. Hector's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley.
