Ana Bertran Ortiz

Ana Bertran Ortiz received her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University in 2007. Upon graduation, Dr. Bertran Ortiz joined NASA’s Radar Science & Engineering group at Jet Propulsion Laboratory. She earned her MS in Electrical Engineering, her MS in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management, and her BS in Electrical Engineering, all from Stanford University. Her research focuses on developing algorithms for radar processing. Ana co-founded AfterCollege, co-wrote the company’s initial business plan, and is co-author of AfterCollege’s 7,213,019 patent, which covers the company’s unique process for matching job seekers with relevant opportunities around group-based talent networks.
