Leah Donham

Leah Donham, Ph.D., currently serves as the Research and Development Group Lead at Afton Chemical since March 2019, contributing to the formulation of heavy-duty diesel engine oil and participating in the development of future product formulations as a member of the global new product development team. Prior experience includes a role as Research Staff at Virginia Commonwealth University from August 2015 to March 2019, where Leah prepared manuscripts based on studies in gas-phase ion chemistry and pursued a Ph.D. in Chemistry, focusing on gas-phase halogenation of heterocycles. Leah holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemistry from the same institution, as well as undergraduate education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
