Susan Abuto

Susan Abuto is an accomplished educator with extensive experience at Aga Khan Academy in Mombasa since August 2012, currently serving as Head of Department for Individuals and Societies and as a senior teacher. Abuto has taught IB economics at the Diploma level for six years and has held various roles including examiner for IB Economics HL and Extended Essay, year level leader for Diploma 2 students, and mentor for intern teachers. Additionally, Abuto has led professional development initiatives focused on "Language Across the Curriculum," managed a Hall of Residence, and engaged in service learning. Academically, Abuto holds a Master in Advanced Education from the University of the People and an MBA in Project Management from Kenyatta University.
