Vernon Makuba

Mr. Vernon Makuba is an experienced educator and coach currently serving as an IBDP Examiner, Lead IB CAS Pilot Program Coordinator, and Service Learning Consultant with the International Baccalaureate since August 2021. Simultaneously, Mr. Makuba has been the IBDP CAS Coordinator and IB MYP/DP Physical and Health Education Teacher at The Aga Khan Academies since August 2015. Additionally, Mr. Makuba engages in various roles including Nat Geo Certified Educator with National Geographic Learning, Basic Life Support Provider with the American Heart Association, and Head Coach for Soccer with FIFA since August 2010. With a background in teaching Physical Education and History at Nairobi Jaffery Academy, Mr. Makuba holds a Bachelor's degree in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from Kenyatta University and various coaching certifications. Mr. Makuba is dedicated to developing innovative leaders through action and community service.
