Yara Kharbeet

Yara Kharbeet is a Technical Engineer at the Aga Khan Agency for Habitat (AKAH) Pakistan since August 2022 and previously served as a Site Engineer with the Aga Khan Agency for Habitat in Syria from July 2021 to July 2022, where expertise was applied in the construction of houses using the compressed stabilized earth blocks technique. Yara also worked as a risk education facilitator for AKAH from September 2019 to December 2021, conducting community awareness sessions on war remnants, and gained initial experience as a trainee at an engineering office from February 2019 to August 2019. Yara holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Jami't Al-Ba'ath (2013-2018) and is currently pursuing a Master of Engineering in Building Information Modeling and Management from Binaa Manhaji since February 2022.
