Semin Abdulla is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in strategic communications and humanitarian advocacy. Currently serving as a Senior Communications Manager at the Aga Khan Development Network since April 2004, Semin has held multiple roles within the organization, including Communications Manager and Senior Communications Officer. Previous experience includes consultancy work on Millennium Development Goals with UNDP, and serving as an Information Officer for both the World Food Programme and UNDP, where significant contributions included coordinating the international Somalia Aid Coordination Body. Semin's early career featured a position as an Information Officer at UNICEF Kenya, where advocacy efforts greatly enhanced public awareness, alongside accomplishments as a Senior Copywriter at MCL Saatchi & Saatchi, creating award-winning advertising campaigns.
