Global Lead - Communications at Aga Khan Foundation

Christopher Wilton-Steer has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Christopher started their career at Penguin Random House as a Communications & Business Development Officer from November 2006 to November 2007. Christopher then moved to Brandhouse, where they worked as a Business Development & Communications Manager from February 2008 to September 2010.

In 2011, Christopher joined Central as an Associate - Projects & Communications, working from November 2011 to February 2013. Subsequently, they founded their own photography company, Christopher Wilton-Steer Photography, in January 2016.

Christopher's work in the non-profit sector began with the Aga Khan Foundation, where they held multiple positions. Christopher started as a Communications Officer (UK) from March 2013 to May 2015, then transitioned to the role of Senior Communications Manager (UK) from May 2015 to January 2019. Later, they became the Head of Communications (UK) from January 2019 onwards. Currently, they serve as the Global Lead - Communications for the Aga Khan Foundation starting from January 2022.
